What trailer plug do I need on my Tow Vehicle? (USA/Canada)
Futura trailers are wired for the 7-Way RV Standard trailer plug. The tow vehicle should be wired as per the diagram below.
The diagram below demonstrates the wiring connection required on the tow vehicle to match the factory wiring of the Futura (and SHIFTR) trailer.
The connection standard is know as the 'RV Standard".

Note: the pin location remains unchanged.
Both are 7 way flat blade trailer connectors , either can connect to our Futura or SHIFTR trailers.
